Emerging Sunspot Becoming Highly Active

After almost a month of dormant solar activity, sunspot group AR1598 is beginning to show signs of super activity. Although the sunspot grouping has yet to aim its sights to Earth, a Sun-Earth footprint could be possible in the near future. Lets see if the region remains active untill then. Here is the latest GOES X-Ray flux data. Each major spike in the data is attributed by AR1589 since October 21st. Notice the trend of increasing variance and magnitude wich finally crossed into the X-Ray threshold today, October 23, 2012.
